First-time Boxster owner

Just purchased a 2003 S with 66K miles on it. It has a modified exhaust (original is in the trunk) and an aftermarket stereo. I am looking to put a short-shifter kit on it and see if there is a chance I can modify the exhaust to not wake up the entire block when I pull out of the neighborhood.

Welcome to the forum! Thank you for the introduction.

Be sure to post that aftermarket exhaust in the "For Sale/Wanted" forum.

See ya around!

The Fabspeed exhaust is growing on me. Just wish I could dial the volume back on demand.

Welcome!

I bought mine in September and it has a full fabspeed maxflow w/ headers. I agree the the volume can seem loud, but it is not that bad if you keep your foot out of it. But I have to say I absolutely love the sound... Addictive! I test drove some before I found mine with exhausts that droned horribly ~2k.. fabspeed sounds great everywhere.

I found the fabspeed sounds better and not as loud with the top down. With it up the sound seems to echo.
