Newbie from Georgia

I too am considering getting a Boxster. Looking at a 2006 S, price is 18,000+. Has 72,994 miles. Is this price too good to be true?

Thanks - Cathy

Could be, you should have it inspected by a good mechanic that knows these cars very well.

I got my 2005 987 S for $19k it had 52k miles on it but had to fly Tampa to pick it up and drive it home to Atlanta. The private owner had all the service records that were done at the dealership for the 9 years he owned it so I did not have an inspection done. The car was a garage queen. So far it has performed fantastic as my daily driver. I am doing all the maintenance myself. Next week is timing belt, water pump and thermostat as these have not been done.
Good luck I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do! Cheers!
