Howdy From the Coachella Valley

Hi all,

I'm an FNG (GIs will know what that means) from the Palm Springs, CA area and a recent 2001 Boxster owner. Actually, I bought it for my wife for Mother's Day. She gets to drive it and I get to maintain it. Sounds fair, right?
Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and say that we are having a great time with our 986.

Regards,

Welcome!

We're in the same area... although I live up the hill, north.

Congrats on the car! I, too, bought the car for the wife. On one hand I can count the number of times she has driven it... she instead preferring to drive the couch, er... Edge.

I've been wrenching on the car for 20 months, and have been well served by the members of this forum. It's a great resource, and there are many friendly people that share A LOT of useful information.
