Porsche Pensioner!!
New boy here, but 66 now and retired last year from The LAS in London. Ex HART Ex HEMS Medic but still practicing with the Police and Immigration. Had many different cars in the past but always wanted a Porsche, always loved the Boxter. Bought a 986 (1999) at Christmas with 67,000 miles, regular MOTs and garaged for 3 years. Checkable mileage but history documentation missing. However the last owner who had it for the last 10 years was of reliable pedigree. Drives great, looks great with only a few minor niggles which I might post here later.
Love it!!

I'm not yet on you guy's level, having just turned 59 but this thread gives me lots of hope of being able to enjoy my cars (and some to come!) for many years.
One thing though, time seems to move a little quicker than it did at 19, even though I don't.

I have a theory that time is speeding up. Us old guys (63) see it because we have a long life to compare it to. Young people don't see it because they have yet to experience it. I'm wondering if this theory can be proven. I'm going to call Stephen Hawking.

78 in June. 2000S arctic silver with 31000 miles (bought it in 2014 with 10,800 miles). It's in storage until the end of March and am looking forward to taking it out of hibernation, putting the top down, and immediately becoming 20 or 30 years younger.
