Hello from Illinois
Hey everyone! I'm Brent, have only had my Boxster for about two months, and am getting bored being alone in the world of porsche, (even if it is just entry level).
So I figured I'd set out and find other drivers of the 986! And hopefully some in my area or some where I'm moving to!
So with that being said, it's nice to meet you all!

Thanks man, I love guards red. It's a beautiful color. So much so, that I'm going to have it repainted again in the same color soon.
It doesn't need it as the paint isn't bad at all, but I figure, why not have it look brand new?!
63k miles (got it at 60k). And have been doing my best to make it restored to just off the lot condition. Got the interior done minus the shift boot (need a new one, the leather is old and cracked), the e brake handle, it's the same. And the cdr220 has a electrical glitch I have to sort out, but I'll get it all done eventually!

Looks good. I'm a little jealous, saw a guy driving today with the top down. Mine's in the garage under a cover, and the seats are down in the basement getting redone. Working on pulling the center console now. Gonna try to color key it to the body.

I'd love to, but afraid I'm about 350 miles south of Chicago. I'm in the Carbondale area. Lol st. Louis is actually closer

I was about to say, you might be a bit of a distance from Chicago, you might have better luck with the St. Louis area. Welcome to Boxster Ownership! I am in the Champaign area, so if you are ever up this way, send me a PM.
