New to me 2008 Boxster S track tweaks

I just got back from a track day at Texas World Speedway. First time for the Boxster. I have had my 72 Pantera on a few different tracks. 40 years of technology makes a big difference. Not as fast in straight line as the Pantera but you have got to love those corners.

I am looking for some advice for some small changes to make the car better on the track. I ran a 100% stock with Pilots that will need to be replaced soon. No complaints it was ton of fun. Hitting 130 on the NASCAR banked straightaway dropping into a big left hand turn was a a lot of fun. I am sure I didn't do the car justice but I had fun.

Any suggestions on rims and tires for the track? How about brake pads that would be better on the track but sill make sense on the street? Any other suggestions. I am not looking to build a race car. Just improve a few things here and there.
