Talking My first porsche!

So this is my first Porsche. I'm 20 years old. I traded in my bmw and left with a 2002 boxster s. so far I love it. Get many heads turning and the ride is sweet. However! I don't know what to do with it. All my other cars have been tastefully modified. But with porsche. Idk what else to do. Besides an exhaust and rims. Maybe some lowering springs? Idk? Ideas? Advice? Any feedback would be great.

my $.02, get the 101 book by Wayne Dempsey(? spelling). Good read and it will give you some ideas on upgrades. It would be prudent to get into the forum here and dig around there are some things that should be gone through if you haven't checked into them. I learned the hard way that the water pumps can let go around 70K miles. I lost mine at 697xx, so it was pretty much dead on. But there are other things to check into as far as preventative maintenance. I'm no guru but I hope this helps.

P.S. get a Bentleys also it help make the maintenance easier, IMHO.

Cheers,

Haus

If cosmetic mods are what you're looking for, I'm the Grand Poobah of body kits and stuff.

That was exactly the body style I had in mind! I've been looking for a decent front bumper and most are way to ricer looking. The one this page is awesome tho. Do you know If there is a lip that would fit nicely on the stock front bumper? Preferably carbon fiber.

There's something like this. Try eBay also.

So I debadged my boxster s. just the back part. I won't touch the emblem I the front. Anyways. Just a tiny bit of residue is left behind. Anything to take that off without damaging the paint? Also I did te desnorkle mod. Love the sound. Nice growl around 3k rpm. And I smoked out the orange parking lights on the sides. Looks alot cleaner. Planning on doing the pse mod and either painting my twist wheels matte black or black chrome. It's a difficult choice. Anybody ever do the pse mod and notice any loss of torque?
