Yet another new first time Porsche owner.

Hey guys. Just bought a Boxster day before yesterday. So far the car is pretty nice. Not as quick as I'm used to but man its a fun drive. Especially with this weather in Seattle the drop top is just amazing :D Anyways its a 2001 2.7L with only 33k on it :D here's a picture

Woah! That's a LOT of CF! I don't ever think I've seen A pillars in CF before. Amazing.

Find some intensely twisty roads and you'l fall in love with the car even more, and it will fix that "I wish it was faster off the line" for you. That's where the car really shines.

Welcome to the forum!

Nice car.

BTW...Hot enough for you?? :D

You guys hit, what, 103---something like that? That's pretty brutal for the NW.

CFs made by my friends. Oh and I don't wish it to be faster, I knew what it was when I bought it and thats why I bought it. Now I have a fast freeway/race car and an awesome twisty turny car =P My bases are covered hahaha

Then again my house has A/C unlike 90% of the people around here lol

Dave928 07-31-2009 04:01 AM

if you can do it, that's great.

wednesday it was 106 in Renton. above 90...that's top up, AC on time for me...

Hey Dave, nice to see another Seattle area person! Yeah, Wednesday was cookin. Gotta admit it was ALMOST too hot to go top down, especially sitting in traffic on I-5 but I put the A/C on and enjoyed it because it might not last.

Dave928 07-31-2009 11:57 AM

of course it won't last, this is Seattle!

:p

any idea which front bumper you have?

Its the Aero Kit II bumper aka GT3 MKI

surge425 07-31-2009 12:10 PM

TriGem2k has it correct.

@TriGem2k nice ride :) I see some similarities between the two, I also have a sort shifter, exhaust, H&R springs, skirts (although mine are the optional ones from Porsche) and I believe you're rear end and tails are from the 04+ gen? I'm just going off what my friend told me about mine when I took it off his hands. Still new to the Porsche game.. most of my knowledge is in Japanese imports.
