Thanks very much! It worked. I bought the Boxter because my 80 year old dad had a 356A back in the day. I failed to see this forum before I bought it. It is a 99 in fair shape with 127,000 miles. The last owner said he replaced the immobilizer and this is why it has an "R" title. So do you mind answering two questions? Can this be true? And should I be afraid of all of the posts about the IMS drip? I paid $7500 for it and I'm wondering if I should try and sell it and get one with less miles? Thanks again, Robert
