I did not attempt to swap the glass. I returned the top for a refund and eventually found a top and frame from a 2004. I don't think swapping the glass would enable the top to fit. It has been several years since I had the 987 top in front of me, but if I recall correctly, it didn't fit correctly in several areas.

Hi Kevin. I found your post regarding a side glass swap. I also purchased a 987 complete top with frame and glass (by mistake) and it did not fit my 2000 986. Will swapping the glass in from a 2005 to 2012 allow me to use my new top?
