Hi - Please forgive the unsolicited message..
I have read everything possible on the Z-Top subject with yours being the most informative!
One question though that I cannot see answered: IF one were to remove the hood and motors (ie 'soft top delete') and fit a ZTop - is it it possible to access the top of the engine to do all the necessary jobs required with the top in place?
I just do not use my soft top, much preferring a fixed roof. OK, so everyone says go and buy a Cayman, but my 986 is just so perfect, rides like floating on cotton wool, starts first turn and generally runs sweet. A 987 Cayman is going to come with undoubted problems, that I would just prefer to fit a ZTop knowing that the car underneath is perfect!
