Hey Richard, This was kind of my goal when I started - make something I could daily and track.
1. Car is white, sorry pics were taken in the evening. Paint looks really good and was garage kept most of it's life from the last seller (always garage kept for me too).
2. Yes it's an aftermarket exhaust
3. Just the stock roll bars
4. Seat belts are stock
5. Stock brakes
6. No I've kept up with any problems as they came, some recent replacements: Light switch dial, starter relay, fuel relay, Crank position sensor. Clutch has less than 5k on it and IMS was just done. I've had no major issues during my ownership and it's been a blast to drive.
I'd be happy to do a video call if you want to get a closer look, just let me know.
Hi, I have a couple question about your for sale ad...
I'm looking for a Boxster to do double duty, track days (2 or 3/year) and wife convertible - yes I know, probably a bad idea but the only way I can justify a track car...
1. Is the car white? It looks grey on the photos.
2. Did you also modify the exhaust? It looks like an S tailpipe.
3. Is there a roll bar?
4. Are the seat belts just the stock oem belts or do you have a harness?
5. Did you upgrade the brakes at all?
6. Anything maintenance-wise that should be looked at in the next 20K miles?
None of these things are deal breakers btw, just curious
I wish you didn't live so far from Boston... Kind of a long trip to come see it in person. I know people buy these things sight unseen, but I'm old school.
