Those look great! I've never seen green ones before, very unique. What colour is your car? You should post a pic when you get them installed.

They are back on the car, I only have a pic from my phone, but here it is, I also coated the SSR wheels that are on the car also (lips match the calipers, centers are black with a rainbow metallic clear)

I owned the Silver Subaru powered boxster from this thread

D'oh! Never noticed those before....my eyes are always drawn to the Porsche stripe on the side and then my imagination kicks in picturing it on mine.

I do my own powder coating. I'm interested in how you did it. Do you have any pics of the process? How hard is it to take them apart to do it?

Not 100% sure what you mean, If you do your own powder coating, i would think you would know what to do to be honest

Specifically I mean the disassembly of the caliper not the actual coating.

you just used compressed air and some blocks of wood, wood in the center (where the rotor would be, and used the compressed air to push the pistons out, just take your time and you can get them out pretty nice, sometimes you can still reuse all the seals/dust boots (sometimes the dustboots break), but its a good time to rebuild them with need seals and everything if you wanted too

You can just pull the calipers and ship them to me if you would like to get them done, I don't really do take off and installs

Send me a PM if you would like and let me know what color you are thinking and stuff like that and i can give you a price, Price would depending on if you were going to take them apart (disassemble by taking the pistons/seals out) also depending on color (some need a base coat/top coat) and also if you wanted the logos done in powder or you could always just put a vinyl logo on

Jay
