986 silhouette / sketch

I really like the Porsche sketch logos I've seen for the 911 and 981, and thought I saw one for the 986, but can't find it. Boxster Register has a generic one but it's kinda blah.

Anyone here good at drawing/photoshop that can modify the 981? I think it would be cool if we had our own logo (if one doesn't already exist).

All images below copyright of whomever owns them (it's not me!)...I can't remember where I saved them from over the last few months.

thanks,

-T

This site has a long listing of various cars but I didn't see a 981...

That looks great, the front lip is highly attractive on these cars, if you were to somehow extend the drawing further and capture the lines of the lights and front lip I would say that's the silhouette we are looking for.

The rear just isn't sitting right with me. Maybe someone else can take over

You did a good job of catching the small rise in the rear fender, a feature that I never noticed until I really studied these cars. It's one of my favorite bits.

Tom... just a quick copy/paste from another apparel related thread. Not as nice as PW's but there you go. Use at your convenience!

Here is my share.

I've included the source files below. Hoping for a 'true' artist to pick up where I left it. Unfortunately I don't have more than 10min to draw stuff.... It was a fun 10 min however!

That's the car I stole to sketch some outlines... beef'ed them up with some stock Illustrator brushes and boom... unique lol

^ In case someone wants to print a t-shirt out of it... your printing shop will require those
