Replacing your light Switch

Just wanted to share, over the weekend, I replaced my light switch controller.
It slowly started not to work when I switch it to headlights. The car is 2001, so I guess this switch goes bad eventually.

Found this awesome thread and followed it, on another forum. Very simple and now with the new switch in, my headlights turn on everytime.

Had the same issue, which caused the dash lights to not come on, even though the headlights worked. Took mine apart in the same fashion, but before I replaced the switch I used some electrical cleaning spray, ran the switch a few times with great results. NO issues with the lights in nearly a year.

Great DIY!

This would be a great opportunity to ditch the hideous orange LEDs in the indicator as well. Color match to the aftermarket gauge LEDs(do this if you haven't ) or do something unique.

Oh, wow, I just realized you ALSO have the alum-look slats! I'm doubly-jealous! Was your car special-ordered with this stuff?
