donv Registered User Join Date: May 2002 Location: NW of Boston, MA Posts: 697	Finally tried the 3M finish restorer (I believe this is their least aggressive level - "swirl marks and light oxidation") product yesterday. I love this stuff!!!!!!!!!! Way better than the Meguiar's "Scratch-X" (read this "extra scratches") product IMHO. The 3M totally removed the scratch reported above, plus several other more minor ones. The major scratch took some time (went slow so I wouldn't burn though the clear coat) but with patience and tired hands it totally disappeared. Surface looks like glass in this area (do I have to do the whole car now?). Small scuffs and scratches took just a few minutes. I had a really nasty set of scratches on my daily driver Subaru which cleared up really well too.
