Heated, manual, 9x7 seats in 986?

Hey all,

I have a pair of manual, heated, standard 986 seats in my MY2000 986S.

My question is if someone here knows what it would require to replace them with a pair of manual, heated, standard *9x7* seats? Is it plug-n-play? (I'm fine with soldering etc but would like to know what I'm getting myself into before I decide.)

Thanks in advance for your guidance!

Check out this thread on Renntech: https://www.renntech.org/topic/51005-wiring-diagram-07-cayman-seats/?tab=comments#comment-302700 and this article on Pelican: https://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/box_997_seats/box_997_seats.htm

It is not “plug and play” but it has been done.
