I wonder if dropping the front of the motor a few inches would give enough room? Unbolt the front mount and let it drop until it starts pulling hard on the other attachments(hoses and wiring). Just a thought. I switched mine over to a 987 airbox when I swapped in a 3.4 motor and intake. Sorry to change subjects but I'm curious about your wheels. You obviously care about performance but have you weighed those wheels? Are they Chinese knockoffs? Most knockoffs I've seen were extremely heavy and really affect performance on such a lightweight car. That being said, I have a set of Chinese knockoffs on mine and they were actually lighter than the factory wheels.

I did consider dropping the engine a few inches but it's really at the back, and not at the front, where the clearance is limited.
As for the wheels, the ones that you see in the video are not my track wheels. They have A/S tires on them. My track wheels are Porsche twists with RE-71Rs on them. Note:
I would love to get a set of hollow spokes!

Haha! That's funny. My wife said the same thing. I only noticed how "Canadian" I sounded!
