Where are you in Portugal? My father's family was from Viseu, and my grandmother still has a house outside Fatima. Some of the roads out there in the mountains are incredible.
Hi there,

I'm from Porto, Portugal

You should come visit, I love my country

In regards to the mod, I was thinking on leaving it on, if it actually works and it doesn't present a security problem, thoughts?

I've decided to keep the mod.

After messing with it a bit, it works like this :

Key inserted, turned all the way to the left, pressure is released from the brakes.

Key out or turned all the way to the right, pressure is applied to the front wheels. Car won't budge..

The chief mechanic @ Porsche Center thought it was a clever mod. Suggested I left it on. He said there's an extra tube in the brake cylinder for this. Shame he didn't take any pictures while investigating.

I've been! We made the drive up north to visit your exact region about 5yrs ago now.

I'm glad you got your car sorted.
