Headlight seals

I have had two 986 boxsters in the last couple of years and both had headlight seals that sort of turned to a black goo and reminded me of a polyurethane sealant. I searched and searched for replacement gaskets and they only come with new headlights. A few months ago I was in home depot and came up with some Frost King Silicone tear drop profile self stick weatherseal. I stripped the headlights of the old seals and stuck this new weatherseal to the lights and VOILA. I have attached some pictures. I couldn't be happier.

Nice work! Thanks for sharing!
What part is the "wallah", though? I've never heard of this and Google doesn't seem to know, either.

You are welcome.

Have Google check the urban dictionary, A shortened, slang term for "Waheyat Allah," which means "I swear to God".

Nice find! I've looked, but have never seen this stuff. I'm sure it will help a lot of people.
