Super easy to get to (tough to find the right wire in the bundle) and short. No need to run wires into the center console.

I was thinking about that, or the rear defrost wiring. I wasn't sure how I would find switched power controlled by the ignition switch position so went with the phone plug option. Wanted to avoid drilling holes too.

I'd like to see how you wired that up.
