haha why do I get the feeling that summer finally kicked in where you are and that the topless thing is biting Man... weather have been good only since a few weeks here.

Next weekend I think I taking the Boxster car out for a spring cleanup & detailing, roof down ride etc etc. Also hope to take a few pics of my car. I actually want to see how the amber looks like on the guards red. Will also post pics here and ask for opinions.

Next weekend, next weekend.... when did I heard that before loll No rush Kevin, totally understand mate

Hi...

Am I on the list? I believe I added myself via the GT Projectors website the other day.

Also, is it possible to get something custom etched as the design - thinking Boston Red Sox themed (the two red socks emblem)....

Haven't sent out a note yet. If you are registered on that gtp site then no worries mate, you will receive soon enough (nx week!)

RE your question, you certainly can! Not sure I am using the correct version tho. Feel free to customize. RS logo from Boston Red Sox Logo - Download 647 Logos (Page 1)

Quick preview in B&W (one color), I bet it looks a tad better backlit with let's say the red LED loll

Go Go custom, sure can do

That looks awesome... Was not sure how it would look with the words (it would be backwards from the front) so was thinking the red sox logo like this would be better. Can you post what that would look like?

Right, and sure. Two potential problems however

1. your rear vision will be reduced greatly with something as solid as per visual. The official logo would possibly be better rear vision-wise e.g smaller/narrower features.. still can see through

2. you want to make dead sure that "everyone" following you is a huge fan of the Boston RS mate Do not travel out of the city

Edit: I actually kind a like it lolllll

Sweet - that looks AWESOME !!!

Will need to think about the rear vision part though, a good point... Would it be an issue only when the LEDs were on or even when they were off (and during the day) because of the etching?

Etching is indeed solid. Back to you mate. Let us know when you'll had a good look at your rear view mirror and made up your decision.

ps. side mirrors and dead angle (over shoulder) rules for me... rear view mirror is optional for me.... but that is just me. I have the Porsche/crest and it doesn't bother a single bit (in bright red loll). Can't confirm/comment on the solid visuals tho - at your own risk!

I'm around mate, tc (go go Red Sox!)

Think "outlines". That's what I'd go for personally

Some options for you to think of.

Off walking the dogs... passed midnight (their time!), got two huge heads here looking at me like its the end of the world

Tc!

Sitting out by the lake the other evening in the car, I had the windscreen illuminated. A couple of bubbas came walking by several times. They finally came up and asked what it was, they had never seen anything like it. Complimented the look and said it was very cool Again, fantastic job Fred

I like the outlines.... looks good and gives better visibility than the solid...

I'll be honest, I also like the white etch look during day time also. So class, looks sharp man. Reminds me when we had 'stickers'. Was also sort of okay but nothing like this

Pumped up my slow leak front tire with my bicycle pump and took the Boxster car for a ride today. No roof down however.... car is filthy and all but don't care was so nice to drive it. I'll take pics when I gave it a good wash (embarrassing... nearly 2 months parked in the dusty shed)

Oh and finally got my amber SkyBreaker on! Not sure, sure does looks amazing but something tells me the red is better. I'll need you guy's opinion as some stage next week on that (please lol)

Let me figure out how to outline that RS logo and I'll post back something far more better looking that above (apologies btw, was a quick photoshop)

Actually, it was at dusk and I had the LED's on, so they were impressed with the blue illumination. When it is still light out, and the LED's are on, it really looks good

Oh I know Bruce, was following no worries. RE looking good, its actually pretty wicked when those LED are turned on. Also Blue-on-Blue must be quite something. Haven't seen it in person I'll be honest but judging from your pics I bet that colour combo is a headturner.

Just took that chance to brag about the white etching during day time. Not many are impressed by that... dunno why LOLL

I think that also brings out the Porsche owner pride thingny pretty well (less the finger prints and dust, sorry)

Ok, I wasnt sure I do love the etching on its own as well, 1000 times better than the sticker. Definitely first class! I wish I could get to Shanghai but this is the last month for the 777 from DFW. Next month they are putting the 787 on that route

2016 we are pushing for Austin,TX for May (motogp) and was thinking of going - I haven't seen the Austin circuit yet. Might well see you sooner than you think Captain Glad to hear you are not having this jetlagged route anymore, can't be an easy job but still fun I guess

Hey Fred,

Counting down the hours. Still on target? Got a small road trip planned for the first week in June and it would sure be sweet to be sporting the new wind screen. See what being a super star gets you. Your adoring fans want more, more more!!!!

Larry
