I like regular contact cement. It's easy to work with and can be peeled off without a lot of trouble once dry. I did my interior with it back in Jan or Feb and I garage park, so I'm not sure how it would hold up in the sun, but it's what most leather interiors are done with, including the 986.
No problems with mine so far.

This is what I am using to correct the problem caused by the Loctite product. Did you coat the leather and the pocket cover ? if so how many coats did you use ?
