Are you thinking about building one?

Yes, thinking of doing one. Did you do this out of a whole sheet of MDF?

I may tackle this next week. I have a custom fiberglass enclosure now behind the passenger seat, but I am not happy with it.

Besides, this will get me thinking about saw angles and stuff for a few days <g>.

This, mounted in the passenger footwell. That wood enclosure is clunky and too large.

Thanks....I have a Kicker one. Will try moving it from behind the passenger seat. D'oh! why didn't I think of this before?

Interesting... Is there a reasons you went for that location and not the place behind the seats like the OEM Bose one, it was not lack of skills so i wonder!

On my sub i bought a bose footwell sub from a 911 cabriolet, fits along side the shift tunnel and doesn't take away leg room for the most part.

Modfied the enclosure used a pioneer thin 8” sub, the cut out i used to seal the hole where the bose driver was, put some polyfill in and sound dampening, had to trim the port tube a little, powered by the alpine sub channel in the frunk.

Lots of options if you get creative.
