Drivers window goes down a 1/3 when closed...

Hi, new to the forum and my first Porsche Just bought a 2000 Boxter (66,000 miles) yesterday and discovered the drivers side window will go down about a third way down every time I close the door. I was also told it had a "manual" top, just discovered it of course was auto but disabled. The connecting arms are off. Any ideas where I should start. Thanks ~Harold

Sounds top related as my windows go down about that much once I start to lower the top.

Garage
Most likely a bad micro switch in the top or door latches...or several.
