I understand blacked out would look sharp.

Hey, a good place to powder coat wheels is LA Wheel in Canoga Park. I had them do my X6 and they did quality work at a reasonable price. They're close to you and may have the same wheel that they'd swap or loan while the work in getting done.

Thanks for the info Mark. I'll be reaching out to you here and there. As I'm just getting started on my 986 I need to discover all the good local shops.

I did mine with the same spacing but 3" from lip at center. Just liked how it looked. Also had to buff/rub out after removing boxster logo, as it was color faded. Came out pretty good, though.http://986forum.com/forums/uploads01...1430793137.jpg

Has anyone left the Boxster S script under the new Porsche letters? It would look something like the attached. I think it looks pretty sharp.

When I did mine, I replaced the Boxster S script with the one from the 981. It is smaller and looked better with the PORSCHE from the 981 than the existing 986 script. Plus the colors didn't match. It looked great, and my indy really liked how it came out.

Where did you source the Boxster S and the PORSCHE script from the 981? I'm going to have to replace my 986 Boxster script soon as a few of the letters are starting get loose. I would also like to source the red S for a little pop of color.
