Lift and jacks

I decided to do some regulator maintenance on our 986. Just do not have the time to run back and forth to a shop during the week. Any economical recommendations on a lift and jacks in the US? Not looking to be a mechanic, will only use on this car.

Thanks

Here's a good basic set...

Torin 3-Ton Low-Profile Garage Jack — 3-Ton Stands, Model# T83318 | Floor Jacks| Northern Tool + Equipment

Just remember to NEVER get under a car that is just supported by the jack. Always use the jack stands.

Thank you. I did hit up Northern tool yesterday and purchased a Aracn XL35 lift and two pairs of Torino big red 3 ton jacks.

My 50k ambitious home owner plan over the next few weeks. Oil and filter change and add magnetic drain plug. Transmition fluid change, spark plugs - tubes-o rings change, serp belt. Maybe remove the front fender and clean the radiators too.

Might want to look i nto a pair of "Race Ramps". Ther are super light and make Oil Changes a breeze.
Been lots of discussion on jacks on other forums......but I bought 2 Aluminum 1.5 ton racing jacks from Harbor Freight . They run as low as $59 on Sale. They are light in weight and dont take much room up. I ve had mine for 2 years now and they work great. I jack one side of the car in front of the rear wheel and change tires one side at a time. For oil changes.......I use the Race Ramps.
