Silver, I want to do this too, the 987 seats are much better for folks with back and hip issues like mine. They are very hard to come by though. What I really want is the 987 sport seats, my friend has them in his cayman R and they are awesome.

I've posted the same question and been told they fit great. I was going to put Recaro CS seats in and found out at the last minute from a forum member the back adjuster knob won't fit.
