I snapped mine a few years ago when a towel got caught when drying the car. It is attached with 2x tape and can be removed with fishing line or dental floss, then you have to remove the adhesive residue. I did not replace it because I like the 'de-badged' look. Since it had been on the car for 6 or 7 years already, I had to wet sand and polish the area to make it look good. If you are putting on a new one, I suspect in comes with 2x tape already applied and ready to stick on.
