Its your rear Track arms (the arm the goes from next to the ball joint up toward the front of the car, about 2.5" long). I spent a lot of time trying to figure out the same noise in my 2000 boxster. If it sounds like a clunking sound, at low speeds and over small bumps, then its the track arms.

I just went out and replaced them, and the sound completely went away. When I took them out, they didn't look bad too.

BTW, the OEM arms a lot of money can can fail again, I ended up buying adjustable arms for like $300 for the pair.
