Headlamp Washer Nozzle Installation

ivectoru1 posted that "To avoid damaging the jet, [they] just cut the bottom under the nozzle and popped em out instead of pulling them out."

I've purchased the BMW part and am curious about how to "cut the bottom under the nozzle" without damaging the nozzle. I'd welcome any suggestions as the pastic is quite hard and the nozzle section looks like it could be easily broken.

Thanks in advance for the advice.
