Transmission linkage

I think there is an Issue with tans linkage, it’s a 6 spd. manual linkage sockets. Where the cables connect to the levers on the transmission. One of them popped off, I snapped it back on but I afraid it will pop off again. What do I need to do to replace or fix? Attached is a pic I took when I was under the car.
Thanks for any help!
Cheers,
Scott
