Bob, your work looks great. Are you telling me that after all the research you put in, this probably cost $30 at the most?

Terrific job...hope this will help others looking to do some paint modifications or restoration.

Thanks, it was a fun project. But I think the cost was more like $40 I hope someone else can use the info.

That's some great information! I repainted the plastic on my shifter last year using a plastic primer and RustOleum silver, but it doesn't match exactly. I may have to try it again using your formula!

looks great. i was thinking about painting my side outside side vents and possibly a few interior peices. I guess the key is many layers and a lot of layers of clearcoat.
