				 Installed Stebro Sport exhaust

Installed the Stebro Sport exhaust with secondary cat bypass pipes over the weekend. All I can say is I LOVE the sound, breath taking! Install was quite easy, all the mounting brakets and pipes lined up perfectly, even with my cheap, knock-off, ebay headers. Very impressive.

I'll post some pics, sound clip might take some time as I have never done one before. I have a camcorder but doubt that will translate the true sound very well. Any suggestions on making a good clip?

How's the resonance (cabin howl) between 2-3k? Would one's wife comment on how loud it is while sitting in traffic bumping along?

I've read and heard about other owners comment on resonance between 2-3k rpm. If it's there I haven't noticed it as such, yes the exhaust is much more aggresive and louder than stock, above 4k it it's really wicked. There is also a burble and popping noises when decelerating or downshifting (which I like, sounds like my old C5 'vette with a Manaflow exhaust). I can say it does not sound like the GHL mufflers that I have heard and personally didn't like, it (GHL)sounded nore raspy at 2-3k than throaty like the Stebro.

No, I have the headers you can get off of ebay for around $100.00 and Stebro accecpted my offer of $800.00 for the Sport exhaust w/ the bypass pipes.

If you have the headers off of ebay, then I assume they don't have catalytic converters built in them (like the fabspeed ones). I think that means that you don't have any catalytic converters at all - correct? Are you getting a Check Engline Light?

This is correct, I am not currently running any cats. I had my ECU reprogrammed to eliminate the use of the rear O2 sensors, thus no CEL.

Do they require periodic inspections in Florida? If so, any concerns about failing emissions with no cats?
