2001 Porsche Boxster S
I purchased this car in June 2020. At that time, I had a pre-purchase inspection done at Porsche of the Village in Cincinnati.
At that time, several things were noted.
Vehicle needed to have brake fluid flushed and replaced.
Front shocks/struts needed to be replaced. I replaced all four.
The ignition switch (a notable 986 defect) needed to be replaced.
All four tires were in need of replacement.
I completed all of these repairs, and more! I have receipts for all. I also did a coolant flush/refill, and an oil change. There is a note in the trunk that the engine was rebuilt in 2017 and the IMS Bearing replaced, and I have receipts for that as well. The left rear fender has been refinished at some point, and the paint is slightly duller than the paint on the rest of the car, which is in excellent condition; nice gloss and shine. The three stripes on the front left fender are tape, and will come off easily, if desired.
This vehicle is in very nice condition, and has a Pioneer wide screen aftermarket stereo with Bluetooth and Navigation. There a few scratches, etc., some wear on the driver's seat, but overall I'd say it's excellent from about ten feet!
This is a nice Porsche Boxster S, has a very solid feel to it, and rides and drives very well.
I've priced this vehicle to sell quickly, (Cars.com suggested 15,800-17,000) as I have no room for it in the garage. Please come and see it. Someone will get a great deal on a very nice Porsche, and enjoy a summer of fun driving!
