2000 Boxster Roller with upgrades
Up for sale is a 2000 Boxster. California car in Arctic Silver Metallic.
It has been upgraded with PSS9 coil over Bilstein suspension. Front brakes are GT3 six-piston calipers and corresponding rotors. Rear brakes are Boxster S.
The car came with a 996 3.4 motor that let go at a recent track event. The motor has crank damage and is currently disassembled. It will not be part of this sale.
The car would make a great build for a track or race car or putting back to a 2.7 or 3.2 or another 3.4.
The convertible top has a damaged rear window but a window kit will be supplied with the car.
The front and rear bumper covers are aftermarket. Front has a louvered GT3 style vent for the center radiator.
Wheels are 3 piece Kokeln and are 18”. Hubs have been studded. Rear tires are 265’s and 225’s up front. Michelin 4S tires shown are not included. Wheels have roller tires.
Tub has 215,000 miles. A five-speed transmission is available with approximately 65,000 miles if that helps the sale.
Asking $3400.00 obo. Clean NY title.

Hi. There are scoops on both sides. Wasn’t planning to remove them. PM me if you want both.

Thank you, however, I will not be parting out the car. It will make a perfect candidate for a transplant for a Porsche motor, a V8 or what have you the VW 1.8 turbo are popular conversion as well. I have the transmission to go with it.

The intake, resident in the fender, is affixed by one screw on the top of the intake. It snaps in, and is secured by that screw.
The scoops, The Joe Toths, should be affixed with double sided tape. I had confirmed that with Him, Toth, a while back.
I remain interested...

I’m sorry but I’m leaving them on the car. The scoops might not be Joe Toth. They are not taped to the grill but are one piece.
Sorry.

Please review original post below. The ad is for the whole car. Roller with PSS9 suspension and GT3 front brakes.
Car would make an excellent project conversion or build back to stock. No reasonable offer refused.

Review value of parts vs whole package...
The tub is worth about $1500, the wheels about $1500; PSS9 is worth $2500 new and $1500 used and the GT3 calipers are worth about $1500 to 2000 used. Five speed transmission $500 used, Factory axles are worth a few hundred as well. That totals, at the low end, to $6500 bucks at least.
If you part it out there are Boxster S rear calipers, interior parts, fenders, hood and trunk lids etc.
For $3400, this is a great deal!

I'm going to post this on the Grassroots Motorsports Forum. Looking at the pics, I see a key - Does it include the immobilizer/key/DME? If it does, that adds a decent bump to your $6,500 parts valuation.

Why thank you 78F350!
It most certainly has the key, immobilizer and DME all for that car.
Unfortunately, I only have one key plus the valet key.
I appreciate your reposting on grassroots motorsports! Awesome!
