1999 Boxster Street/Track

Located in Maryland, zip 21009. Equipped for weekend track days/auto-crossing and getting groceries in style on weekdays (2 trunks!). I have owned and loved this car for 7 years but I think I am ready to move on to other pursuits.

75,000 miles. Garaged its entire life. Maintenance records since new.

Factory Specs:
Ocean blue metallic
Beige interior
5 speed manual transmission
Hardtop

Modifications:
Interior swapped to black
OMP seats with Planted brackets and Sparco sliders (reclining, comfortable, harness-compatible)
Schroth 6-point harnesses
BK rollbar extension
OEM litronic headlights
OEM clear taillights
OEM Hella clear sidemarkers
996 GT3 aluminum shift knob
Dansk 'sound version' exhaust
AFe Cold air intake
EBS X51 oil pan baffle
Mantis 4.75" underdrive pulley
Bilistein PSS9 coilovers
OEM M030 sway bars
OEM GT3 adjustable front control arms
OEM GT3 brake ducks
997 short shifter
Hawk HP+ track brake pads (with 2nd set of street pads)
8.5"x17" wheels all around painted black with Hankook RS3 tires for track
Gloss black 18" Cayman S wheels for street (tires are old, should be replaced)

Maintenance highlights:
Clutch & soft top @ 53k
O2 sensors @ 54k
IMS, RMS, AOS, motor mount, water pump, thermostat, PSS9 + most suspension parts @ 67k
New battery @ 74k
Motul Xcess 5w40 changed annually under my ownership
Motul RBF600 high temp brake fluid
Complete maintenance log by request

Car is in excellent mechanical condition. Only thing to note is: the airbag light is on (guessing passenger seatbelt receptacle).

Interior is 9.5/10. No excuses.

Exterior is 7.5/10. No rust or corrosion. Some door dings and paint scratches from sharing the garage with my kids bikes. Some plastics starting to fade. Plastic window has small cracks at the ends of the fold line. If you want a show car you'll need to make a date with your PDR/paint correction guy.

My asking price is $15,000. At this price you get everything you will need to hit the track and safely experience what a mid-engine sports car is capable of, including: Durametric scanner, Garmin track camera and roll bar mount, track fire extinguisher with custom frunk mount, IMS bearing puller, camshaft lock tools, period correct i-pod loaded with late 90's tunes, 2 OEM car covers, stock skinny front wheels, stock muffler, stock suspension, and I'll even throw in my carbon fiber hans device with quick release helmet anchors!
