Cool Stock Intake

I'm looking to buy a used stock inlet pipe (from the throttle body to the filter box) from a 2.5L engine. I want to try some modifications and compare it with the stock.
Thanks,
Rich in CT

Umm, are you asking a question, or just letting us know?^

http://www.car-part.com/

This site is good for used parts. I'm not sure what it would be listed under.

Lightbulb I hope this helps as well...

Here is a schematic of the airbox/filter/throttle assembly for your 1999 boxster... This should give you all the part numbers needed and possibly even give you some additional ideas for your project! I obtained these from Porsche's computer program PET (just to let you know) GOOD LUCK!

Your Bud,
PorscheBoy (Jay)

Thanks for the parts info. My car has been in storage so I wasn't able to look at the inlet. The pics you posted looks different than I expected. I thought the sound baffle was in line and causes restriction. But it looks like it's off to the side? I don't see any restriction in the pics?
