FS: 2001 Boxster S 32K miles. Long Island, New York

Unfortunately, I'm setting her free. I bought her in April for some fun and she is amazing. I just happened to come across an 89 Carrera I couldn't refuse and can only keep one.

Immediate work by South Shore performance in April included IMS replacement with direct feed (prior bearing was a dual row and was perfect upon removal), new clutch, new RMS, new MAF, new coils, ALL fluids replaced (oil, brake, gear). I updated the CDR 220 with streaming bluetooth from Becker. Prior owner performed 30k service, new tires, new brake rotors & pads, plugs and new rear axles. Borla exhaust.

Clean Title.
Price 20K

Nice looking Boxster
Lots of work done on it! Some probably unnecessary, but nice anyway

I’d suggest submitting this 986 to bring a trailer.

Agree. BAT loves low mile cars and yours looks very nice. BAT also LOVES documented IMS replacements but give the commenters nothing to talk about!

Thanks for the suggestions. BAT was/is high on the list because of how high these have sold for - I just figured 986forums should get first crack. I'll post some more pics shortly.

That is a real nice specimen. I'm interested but have to wait until mine is settled by insurance from a driver that rear ended me at a traffic light.
First and foremost I am sincerely concerned about the gentleman that hit me. The police believe he had a medical event (heart attack?) and rammed me at about 40mph. I was stopped at a light and never saw him coming. By the time I became fully aware of what was happening around me, they were giving him CPR on the street.
No one will tell me his condition for now. Police report next Tuesday. Assessor tomorrow. The right rear quarter was crushed pretty good. I think they will probably total it. Yours will probably sell before I get my shyt together to make a purchase happen. But you never know... Good luck.

I really loved my car, but always remember...It's just a car
