So I underestimated the event. I left the street-tires on, and the street brakes (ceramic pads, so they don't dust-up the wheels.... but don't use them at the track!). It had been raining, so the track was "green", and still wet in places. But we had a good time... and the sound is fun.

Wow! Such awesome scenery - I'd find it hard to keep my eyes on the track!

Oh yeah, it's pretty fantastic. When we first opened, some publications compared us to Phillip Island, just based on the epic-scale of the backdrop.

Here's one they took of me in '06.... that view is spectacular. But it also comes with reduced power from a N/A motor.... (3500' altitude)

Great pic. Reminds me of Kenny Roberts at Suzuka (except for the YZR500 :>)

Fester! That IS a great photo!

Had no idea you did that. Never did much riding—only bikes owned by friends who’d (ill-advisedly) let me take them out for a spin, a mile or two (or three). Having always driven cars with clutches, I’d fool them into thinking I knew what I was doing—never had any trouble taking off smoothly (even with the clutch in my hand instead of at my foot). Loved the experience, just never got around to getting one for myself. But THAT…what you did! Man & machine, pushing the limits. Seriously cool stuff. My hat’s off to you—I’d be the first to admit: I’d find that absolutely terrifying.
