15 years ago, my in-laws suggested they were getting to an age where they were considering where their possessions would go when they passed.

Next thing you know, the whole family and neighborhood was at their home attaching their names to stuff. Many fights ensued. I watched my in-laws as their friendship was reduced to "things".

I'm just saying.....

Hahahaha ;-)

How about that! I drove 4,000 miles round trip just to drive around Miller (courtesy of Ford). I even know how to pronounce Tooele. I just loved seeing that part of the country. I was amazed by the Bonneville Salt Flats, and that weird plants grow right up through the salt. I'll send a PM.

Stiggy, I replied to your PM.
Yes, we have some unique environmental qualities around here. They're not ALL pleasant, hehe. But we are pretty fortunate. This time of year (without Covid) we can usually ski in the morning and then play 18 holes in our shirts & sleeves in the afternoon.

So I underestimated the event. I left the street-tires on, and the street brakes (ceramic pads, so they don't dust-up the wheels.... but don't use them at the track!). It had been raining, so the track was "green", and still wet in places. But we had a good time... and the sound is fun.

Oh yeah, it's pretty fantastic. When we first opened, some publications compared us to Phillip Island, just based on the epic-scale of the backdrop.

Here's one they took of me in '06.... that view is spectacular. But it also comes with reduced power from a N/A motor.... (3500' altitude)

Great pic. Reminds me of Kenny Roberts at Suzuka (except for the YZR500 :>)

Fester! That IS a great photo!

Had no idea you did that. Never did much riding—only bikes owned by friends who’d (ill-advisedly) let me take them out for a spin, a mile or two (or three). Having always driven cars with clutches, I’d fool them into thinking I knew what I was doing—never had any trouble taking off smoothly (even with the clutch in my hand instead of at my foot). Loved the experience, just never got around to getting one for myself. But THAT…what you did! Man & machine, pushing the limits. Seriously cool stuff. My hat’s off to you—I’d be the first to admit: I’d find that absolutely terrifying.

Okay y'all; for real this time.
Listing this at $12K. I'm happy to remove some of the "extras" (like the PST2, extra wheels, etc etc) to get the price down lower for you, if you'd like. But I think you're getting a heck of a bargain if you take it all for $12k. (Hint: I'm not going to remove the spare mufflers and give a $2k discount, for instance)

This really is a perfect D/E or TT car. Or a great base for a race-car. There are lots of little details that matter at the track which aren't listed below. Things like the remote-fob activated cooling fans and engine-bay purge-fan.

I've edited the original message below as necessary, to capture the car correctly. I've also added photos below of interior, etc.

The thing is a monster at the racetrack (in a good way!); I can send you videos of some laps, if you would like. It's working really, really well right now.

If you're following the other threads, you'll see that I'm working-through an Evap issue. That will be solved shortly. OR you can use it as a bargaining-chip.

I ALSO know that I could part it out for MUCH more than I can sell the car for. But if I can avoid doing so, I'd like to. So I'd like to see if there's any interest among the community to buy me out for a fraction of the parts resale value. I'd be very happy to let the whole thing go, rather than spend 3 months parting, shipping, fighting for payment, etc etc.

I've made a quick spreadsheet with the highpoints of what's included if someone made an offer (of course the whole car goes). I tallied what I know I can get for the parts on the list below (not what I HOPE I can get for them) and I'm really close to $20k. I'd accept a dramatically lower number than that. I'm realistic, and I don't want to spend the time to part it. frankly, if someone wanted to make some money, you could buy it all and part it yourself.

Ha!
Not even a nibble. Not a single email, text or inquiry. Neither here, nor any other place where I advertised.
I guess it was uglier than I thought.
So I parted it out.
Eventually I put a bunch of body panels in storage as spares for the track, and sent a ton of parts to the landfill.

SMH

Thing was a track monster. And pretty.

Not a single nibble.

I've got a set of headers that didn't fit for the guy who bought them.
I've got a complete bose system (head unit, speakers, amp, etc) minus the shelf sub.
I've got (2) complete sets of: DME/ Guage cluster / immobilizer / door, glove box, center console locks / ignition cylinder and keys.

That's probably it.

Just wondering who bought the GT3 side skirts? I'm still looking for a set in case you decided not to install them.

Edit: oops, I meant to put this in the part out thread.

Sorry friend, the car's been long-ago parted out and the non- selling items returned to the landfill from whence they came. (Well.... they didn't come from the landfill I guess..... ? Haha I don't know what that means, Only that the car is gone)
