Well after tearing down the motor on the 04 911 I bought, pricing everything out and giving it much thought, I've decided not to rebuild the motor as it does not make financial sense Even though all the bits of the motor itself are pretty good, the cost of the rebuild parts and labor even with my connections don't make it worth all the risk and effort.

So long story short is another one bites the dust and this car will be parted out. In case anyone needs 911 parts send me a PM as I'm not going to post it here, i'll probably post everything on the Pelican forums before it all goes on Ebay. Then once I get my finances sorted out i'll be on the lookout for a Boxster S again, then the hunt continues!

2001 s

I'm in Arlington TX with a 2001 S and the motor just went this morning. I noticed the temp gauge went to red I exited the highway then into a convivence store to park it rattled just as I reached for the key! Too late!

It's seal grey. 131K miles, my daily driver, recent tires.

Ill send pics if anyone is interested.

Louis
