FS 2004 Boxster S 50th Anniversary Edition

Up for sale is my 2004 Boxster S Anniversary Edition. It is #317 of 1953 made. I had the car for sale earlier this year and had 2 offers from local buyers, both couldn't secure financing, so I decided to hold on to it.

Here is the link with the press release from Porsche explaining the factory upgrades and the differences on the anniversary edition if you are unfamiliar with them. Special Edition BoxsterŽ S Celebrates 50 Years of the 550 Spyder

The only reason for me selling it is my wife and I welcomed a new addition to the family and it doesn't make much sense to keep it. This car is Not my daily and sits in the garage under a cover.

The car has 105K miles and is super clean. I treat my vehicles like children and it reflects. The car is up to date on service and ready for a new owner.

Recent work - All completed within the last year
New Clutch
RMS
LN Engineering IMS bearing
Heater Core
Thermostat
Water Pump
Front engine Mount - 987 Design
Front Sway Bar End Links
rear upper control arms
Cabin Filter
BMC Air Filter
New Pirelli PZero Rosso Tires & alignment
replaced Spark plugs and all 6 ignition coils
fuel pump
battery
Fresh fluids
replaced the exhaust with one from borla, I have the factory one but it needs the seams re welded as it had a slight leak. I will include that for the buyer.

The only down side to the car is there is a slight indent on the driver side rocker panel from what looks like a jack handle. It came with the car, never bothered me as you have really look for it and it is under the sight line when looking at the car.

There have been 2 PPI's done, from the prior purchasers, the only issues and these are minor is the car will need rear brakes within the next 5-7k miles and there is a heat shield slightly loose on the driver side secondary cat. It is on the pipe itself, I was planning to change it out any way with secondary deletes, but will leave that for the next owner to decide what they want to do.

I have the title free and clear. There is no accident history and the car fax is clean. I am looking to get $15,500 and I am firm on the price.

Happy to talk on the phone and walk through the history of the car.

Love this car! If the Canadian $ wasn't so low right now, I'd be all over it!

Love these cars! Too bad there's nothing worth buying down here in Houston. I looked at an '03 yesterday that was just a mess. Holes in the top, trashed interior, evidence of hits to front and rear bumper. Gas door doesn't latch. Rear spoiler stuck in up position. Power mirrors wired backwards (how do you even do this, and then why not just swap the two backwards wires and fix it?), front tires dry rotted, new rear tires, different brand. 122,000 miles and the dealer (buy here pay here I shouldn't have wasted my time) wants $12,000.
