Audi Club at Spring Mountain

I signed up for the SoCal Audi Club event at Spring Mountain Motorsports Resort just outside Las Vegas. I'll be doing the open track day on Friday 4/5.

I'm pretty excited since I've always wanted to do SMMR, but also because this is going to be my first open track day. This was proposed to me by our local PCA CDI after I did my first day of PCA instructor evaluations at my last event at AMP. Looks like they'll be running the Andretti B configuration (4 mile 27 turn). I'm living the dream!

Garage
Spring Mtn. is a great facility that is continually expanding, changing and upgrading. It is a paid membership club so they have lots of funds for improvements. As a visiting club we benefit from this. PCA runs several events per year there.

I love spring mountain! Taught many, many beginning sportbike classes there over the years.

Bill and Erin Vogel should be there - probably not running their Spec Boxsters - they'll probably bring out the R8 LMS car and the Flying Lizard cars they have. Missing this one as the Audi Club Golden Gate has a track day on the same weekend.
