The original announcement stated the following "Current SPB racers can use their existing springs with the new MCS system, those building new cars will have to buy a spring kit designed for the MCS system."

I'm thinking that I'll likely buy the new shocks for my SPB, and use my existing PSS9 springs. The Bilsteins will then be used on my 986 daily driver with the original springs.
