I will keep you all updated Rick, in my normal thread here on the forum...
The season is about to start here in Finland, with the first race on 6th of June. I am working like mad to get the car ready including getting the new top painted etc.

Good luck.

The roof itself is $2100. To make a pallet and package for freight shipping would be an additional $165.
So far, everyone has scheduled their own freight pick up at our location, which I would definitely prefer. That way you can gather competitive quotes, decide on your own insurance, keep up to date on tracking and delivery time etc.
The pallet is 96" x 60" x 18" and weighs about 60lbs with a roof strapped down. There are photos of a ready-to-ship roof in this thread so you can accurately describe or show the shipping company if needed. It can easily be carried by two guys but some of the shipping companies may insist on a forklift due to the liability of employees and clients health...

I really like this top! Are you guys running the same cage that you would have under the standard hard top? Is this top NASA GTS legal?

Yes, same cage that would fit under a factory or replica composite hard top.
I dont see why it wouldn't be legal in GTS. I did have to take a non-stock roofline adjustment for ST class though. GT is open as far as roofline goes, I think. It has run POC and PCA GT classes without any issues or penalty adjustments.

Thank you for your response. I am going to be building a boxster s this winter for next year, and would rather have a roof that makes the car aesthetically pleasing vs the standard. How long is your current lead time for orders? Or I should say, what do you anticipate come January/Feb for lead time?

We're out of stock right now so we're about 4 weeks until we can ship. We can probably get 2-3 made during that time period. It is possible we'll have one available around then since we've had an increase in interest this week. I'll make a run of a few if I get an order.

I'm sure you could probably cut a removable access panel to get to the oil/coolant fill if needed but it is not something we will be offering. The extra modifications will need to be done once received.
A hatch with actual struts like a Cayman would add weight and complication to a race car part which does not fit the intended usage.

I'm sorry, the roof was not designed for sealed windows. By installing 996 GT3 cup car composite doors and polycarbonate fixed windows, you can get a more closed cockpit but it is still not "sealed".

Ja, that Hard Top is just fantastic, would be great to make it work for a TÜV cert (just imagine the costs for TÜV cert testing...makes me shudder)
sigh, one far distant day...3D printed carbon hard tops...available for everyone, fully licensed
up till then, my photo-shopped hybrid vision...larger rear window/hatch from Cayman 981 plus modded side back windows:

No cert here. Cali might be tight on smog, but don't even check break fluid, or look for mods.
