Subaru WRX STI...ARRRRGH!!!!

Had a great day AXing with the local SCCA, but a 2006 WRX STI spoiled it for me! Out of 84 cars, I finished third. FTD and second went to two guys taking turns on the same WRX STI. I was out-tired by their square Hoosier 285's, their AWD, and the at least 50+ RWHP advantage. And, of course, the fact that they are both superlative drivers. FTD was 55.5xx, second was 55.6xx. I ran 56.51. Maybe next time!

So, I'm guessing you were running in the newly reoganized ASP? If they were on Hoosier A6's and you were on real street tires (STR class tires), then that was a great accomplishment.

They were running in ASP. I'm in F Prepared (stripped out interior). Their car was on Hoosier A6's, and I'm running Nitto NT01's
