Zeineke has given himself a less than stellar reputation. Has he straightened out the financial situation with customers with paid orders who never got a top or a refund?

Mr. Zeinecke was involved in the company togethe wth his nephew with the same last name. His nephew was the one who screw everybody over. NJS Auto is used car dealership located in Selden NY and Mrs. Andreas is joining our team and those tops and everything else will be available for preview in our store front location and you can also purchase it at the spot.

When I see it, I'll believe it. I've been waiting for a domestic source for this top for nearly six years!
Keep us posted on this thread when you have them in stock and they're ready to ship.

If anyone does actually get one, let me know I am very interested but their reputation isn't worth throwing away 4K.

Ease of changeover back to convertible
This top is gorgeous. Obviously huge improvement in Cayman-like looks; but it appears apparent you have to remove the rear boot lid. Any other modifications required to install it?
If the boot lid and other parts come off, it seems like a lot of work to make it work as a convertible again.
Or am I wrong?

How do you access the engine, oil and coolant reservoir?

oil and coolant is accessible with hatch open. similar to any hardtop, you have to remove the hardtop and partially raise the convertible top to get at the engine (unless you completely removed the convertible top when you installed the hardtop). the hardtop is held on by a spinlock at each corner and the front latch; it is about 100 lbs and a two person job.

If a Boxster with z-top lands on the roof, will chances for survival be just as good as if being in a Cayman?
