Finally popped my hood!!
AS you may have known, I have had the dilemna of trying to pop my trunk in order to get to my battery on my 2001 Box. Cig lighter to Cig lighter would not work...battery completely dead!!
I ran out to Walmart and for $45 I bought the Black and Decker Simple start Battery Booster. Took it home, charged it up with the included AC adapter and when I plugged the cig male adapter from the battery booster into my cars cig lighter receptacle...wham, bam, slam. Dome light, everything lit up and popped my hood, no problem, easy, no long wires or unnecessary fooling around.
It is the Black/Decker BB7B. It is very small but powerful and quite compact. I urge everone to check into it or just look it up and check into it; I was very impressed!

I thought that was something you had to do when you had the bumper off? As far as I knew and have seen from taking the bumper off it has to accessed by taking the front bumper off.

Hi,
I routed my Emergency Cable to just behind the left side grill opening. It's tucked aay and you have to look for it to see it, but it's right there if I ever need it, works great...
