Copying DJ here... pics of my Box

Finally had weather nice enough (that coincided with my days off) to wash and wax the Boxster. Also got to run around with the top down a bit. I LOVE this car!

It's easy to clean in all the crevasses when everything opens up:

SO sexy!

Very nice. I love the color. Is that a Blaupunkt stereo I see in there? Maybe the Los Angeles model?

Nah, it's a Sony. (MP70 I got back in 03, had it in my previous car. Put the stock one back in that car and brought it with me to the Boxster)

Yep, what I thought... used to work for Sony at that time. Nice piece and impossible to make skip with the motarized tray.

There are some great places in and around Austin to take car pics... it was getting late in the day, and I had to do a few other things.

What you can't see well in the pics is that the front bumper was obviously and poorly resprayed, at least around the area of the passenger side intake. It's flat/matte in a few areas, and the clear is peeling in about a baseball sized area.

You can't tell from a few feet away, so it doesn't bother me, but someday I'm going to have it resprayed CORRECTLY, and have the chips and scratches filled.

It's my daily driver, so a few cosmetic things don't really bother me much.

Thumper, the layout of that stereo is very similar... looks like a nice unit! I bet it's expensive! I think that Sony unit cost me about $450 when I got it. I still dig it.
